About
Alberto de la Rocha is a Spanish film composer and music producer whose work has been recorded at some of the world's most prestigious facilities — the Eastwood Scoring Stage at Warner Brothers, EastWest Studios in Hollywood, Teldex Scoring Stage in Berlin, and Budapest Scoring.
A member of the Society of Composers and Lyricists (USA) and a Grammy voter, he brings an international perspective to every project — from orchestral albums with the Berlin Philharmonic to advertising campaigns requiring musical precision across cultures.
His upcoming jazz/big band album is being arranged and produced alongside Jorge Calandrelli, three-time Grammy winner. The album's demos already feature solos by two world-renowned artists: Arturo Sandoval on trumpet and Tom Scott on saxophone.
Born in Talavera de la Reina, his music grew from a deep listening to classical music, jazz, symphonic rock and above all the great symphonic tradition of American cinema — Rachmaninov, Aaron Copland, John Barry, James Horner, John Williams, Ennio Morricone. And artists like The Alan Parsons Project, Sting, Barbra Streisand and Frank Sinatra. A law graduate who practised as a lawyer for over a decade, he studied harmony and composition as a self-taught musician until finding his own orchestral voice.
Music composed for your project. From the first screening to final delivery — with demos at each stage and the flexibility to record orchestrally or produce digitally to the same sonic standard.
Every audiovisual project has its own emotional logic. The work begins by listening to the director — understanding the tone, the narrative rhythm, and what the music needs to do in each scene. The score develops iteratively, with demos at each stage so the director can shape the result before the orchestra or studio is committed.
Original composition for commercials, branded content, corporate identity, and product launches — with the same attention to sonic detail as any long-form production. Deliveries adapted to advertising production formats and timelines: versions, duration edits, and stems ready for post-production.
For artists and musicians who want to record with the best available resources. From defining the sonic concept and selecting musicians to recording, arranging, and mix supervision. A production is only as good as the decisions made before walking into the studio.
